WELCOME TO ROCKLAND ELITE
WHERE KIDS COME FIRST!
Rockland Elite is a not-for-profit youth travel baseball organization established in 2012 committed to helping young athletes grow on and off the field. Based in Rockland County, we offer professional coaching, year-round development, and a competitive but supportive environment where players build skills, confidence, and character.
Our teams consistently succeed in league and tournament play, and many Rockland Elite players go on to compete in college baseball — a testament to the strong foundation they build here.
As a community-focused organization, we reinvest in our players through accessible tryouts, quality training, and a “kids-first” approach. If you’re looking for a program that combines development, opportunity, and a true baseball family, Rockland Elite delivers.

Commitment Alert:
Congratulations to Ryan Saya on his commitment to Fairfield University. Following in his big brother Matt’s footsteps, Ryan played with Rockland Elite for 10 years, from 7U through 16U. Even at a young age Ryan’s athleticism always stood out - in the outfield and on the base path. Very few kids can say they played center field for their travel baseball team, tailback for the school football team, AND starred in track and field. Simply amazing!
Ryan’s Elite team would go on to win multiple championships and the best part about all the success was that he got to do it with his Dad, Coach Bob Saya, leading the way.
Great job Ryan and best of luck in the next phase of your journey. We will be rooting for you every step of the way.

Rockland Elite Alum, Anthony Costello, continues to get things done on the mound for his Central Connecticut State University Blue Devils baseball team! Anthony recently helped his team with a big win vs University of Massachusetts, throwing three strong innings, giving up only 3 hits, no earned runs, while striking out 4!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great job Anthony and keep up the great work!
Go Blue Devils! Go Elite!
Commitment Alert!
Congratulations to Alfred Santasiere on his commitment to the University of Pittsburgh where he will be majoring in Finance.
Al played for Rockland Elite under Coach Bob Saya and later Coach Matt Woska and Coach Frank Negri. A dominant second baseman with a steady bat, Al played a pivotal role in two Elite championships last summer. Al has proven to be a leader in and off the field and is a captain of the Clarkstown North Rams team this spring as they look to take home the Section 1 title.
Best of luck Al on the next phase of your journey!

Congratulations to Chris Stigliano on his commitment to the University of Louisville! Chris will be majoring in Physical and Health Education.
Chris played nine seasons for Rockland Elite, first for his dad, Coach Anthony Stigliano, and later for Coach Jimmy McGovern, Coach Bob Saya and Coach Matt Woska. A multi-faceted athlete, Chris played outfield, pitcher and catcher over the years. His defensive skills, clutch hitting and team-first attitude helped win multiple championships throughout the years!
This spring, Chris will be back on the field with his Clarkstown South Varsity Vikings team as they look to take home the Section 1 title.

The First Championship of 2026!
Coach Leigh Bomzer:
“Rockland Elite Red 10u started their spring season with a bang! They went 3-0 today winning the USABL Spring Blast tournament. The bats were on fire as the team outscored their opponents 41-8.
The best part about today was that EVERYONE contributed. Every player scored a run today and played great defensively!
The team looks to continue this hot start in two weeks when they begin their spring season.”
Great job Players and Coaches!

GIALDRI GOMEZ
We have seen this many times before.
Rockland Elite Alum, Pearl River HS Alum, and current D1 University of North Florida player, Gialdri Gomez, hits this bomb vs. Alabama - who finished #13 in the Country in 2025.
That’s a Big Time !
Gialdri spent time this Winter coaching up our 16U with his hitting clinics. Coach Gialdri talked to the boys about off season workouts, getting your body strong, preparation, tee work, getting tons of reps, “swinging so much that you’re comfortable and confident with your swing”. It’s one thing to speak it and to teach it. But it’s another level, when you go out there and show how it’s done. Parents, Ingrid and Fernando, brother Luis (a superstar baseball player in his own right), couldn’t be more proud. A great kid, from a great family. Great job Gialdri, we will be rooting for you and posting your highlights every step of the way!
Go Ospreys! Go Elite!!

Congratulations to 18U Knights’ Jake Lipson on his commitment to University of Connecticut. Jake had an unbelievable 2025 season, getting lots of looks and offers at College showcases throughout the Northeast. Besides being an unbelievable hitter, baserunner and outfielder, Jake is also a strong lefty pitcher, with a fastball in the low 80’s.
Jake plans to try out for the Huskies baseball team this Fall. Before that though, he will be leading his Clarkstown South Varsity baseball team on their quest for the Section 1 title.
Congratulations Jake and we wish you the best of luck in the next phase of your journey.

Coach Juan "Kiko" Reyes & Coach Joe Vetrano Give Back!
2/9/26
Coach Tom Guarino’s 15U Black players were treated to two very special guest Coaches yesterday at Santos Baseball Academy
Former Professional player, Coach Juan “Kiko” Reyes, was in attendance. Coach Kiko has an extensive list of successes as a player and as a High School and D1 College Coach.
Current Dodgers Minor league player, Joe Vetrano showed up as well. Coach Joe is a former Lakeland HS & Boston College standout and was the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 5th round Draft pick in 2023.
Coach Kiko and Coach Joe brought their favorite hitting and fielding drills to teach the boys and both discussed the hard work it takes to get to the top and make your dreams come true.
A great experience for all involved. Thank you Coach Kiko and Coach Joe for taking time out of your busy schedules to give back to the community.

15U National make it all the way to the playoffs at Perfect game
12/20/26, Fort Myers, FL
Coach Kevin Reim’s 15U National team headed down to Fort Myers, Florida this past weekend to compete in one of the toughest tournaments on the East Coast, at Perfect Game MLK East Tournament.
In pool play and the playoffs, the team faced 4 Nationally ranked teams, going 2-0 on Saturday in pool play. On Sunday in the playoffs as the underdog, the team played great baseball and had the lead going into the late innings before coming up short. It was an amazing experience for all, and with just 11 players, the team was 1 of only 8 teams to make the playoffs. All the boys left their baseball mark down in Florida.
Some highlights:
Mikey Monda hit .667 with a double on base 10 times scoring 8 runs.
Connor McHale hit .444 with a double, a HR, 5 runs and 4 RBI’s.
Nathan Bengston hit a double and 6 RBI’s and pitched in game 2 win.
Jack Tringale caught great behind the dish and hit a double.
Jake Myers with 3 hits.
Kyle Lascano pitched a gem in game 1 for the W.
Ben Reim in the playoffs, singled and scored to start a 6 run rally to take the lead.
Danny Kissik 2 doubles and 4 RBI.
Shoutout to Coach Trevor Reim, who helped the boys prepare for success, calling pitches and helping the team get 2 W’s in Florida.
What a great way to kickoff the 2026 season.
Great job Players, Coaches and Parents!

The accolades keep coming for 13U Navy’s Shayna Bloch. Shayna has been selected to play in the MLB Trailblazer Series - an all girls baseball showcase in April! To qualify for this amazing event, Shayna, and all potential participants, had to send in an application and video to MLB.
To be one of the few selected from the entire country is really an unbelievable feat.
